Your birth details and privacy
You can calculate a map and download an HTML report without an account or an email address. Sending a report by email is a separate, optional action.
Calculating and downloading locally
Ordinary map calculations use your birth date, time and selected city in browser memory. The calculator does not put these details in the page URL or browser local storage, and does not send them to a remote calculation service. Reloading the page starts again with the labelled example.
A downloaded HTML report is generated in your browser. It contains the time used for the calculation and your selected city results, so treat the file as personal information when saving or sharing it. A browser download does not create a public report link.
Optional email reports
If email delivery is available and you choose to send a report, your email address, birth date, birth time, time zone, selected theme, language and research-consent choice are submitted to our server. The server recalculates the report and sends the report and recipient address to Brevo for delivery. This action therefore has a different data path from a local calculation or download.
Email providers and hosting services may process delivery and operational records under their service policies. We do not promise that an email submission stays only on your device or that a provider’s acceptance proves inbox delivery. If email is unavailable, you can still download the report locally.
Research contact is a separate choice
The optional research checkbox is unchecked by default. Requesting a report does not itself opt you into product trials or research invitations. If you choose to opt in, a separate notification contains your email and consent record; it does not need your birth details.
You can withdraw that choice or ask about data handling by contacting yijane.work@gmail.com. Describe your request without including unnecessary birth information.
Website requests and third parties
Your browser requests the website, fonts, images and city data from our hosting infrastructure. Hosting and delivery providers can receive normal connection information such as an IP address, browser information and requested URL. Local calculation does not mean browsing generates no network traffic.
The calculator does not attach birth details to analytics events. External links, such as source or provider documentation, have their own privacy practices. Emailing us also uses your email provider. Please review a service’s policy before sharing information with it.
Questions and changes
Sunward Atlas is maintained by YiJane. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests relating to information you have sent, contact yijane.work@gmail.com. The handling of a request depends on what was submitted and which provider holds it; ordinary calculations are not stored by this application for later retrieval.
